Michaele di Miceli is a Corleone native resident, the son of Maestro Bernardo di Miceli and Gioachina Bartolotta, who married in 1795. He is named after his paternal grandfather.
Michaele marries Serafina di Giglia, daughter of Silvestre di Giglia and Antonina Colletto, on 19 April 1819.[1]
Michaele and Serafina have at least four children: Bernardo (c. 1822), Francesco (c. 1828), Apollonia/Lorenza (c. 1830), and Emmanuele (1835).
Bernardo is named after his paternal grandfather. We estimate he is born within a few years of his parents' marriage.
Francesco is born around 1828, based on his reported age at the birth of one of his children.
I estimate Apollonia is born as Lorenza around 1830, twenty years before she marries.
Apollonia, under the name Lorenza, marries Carmelo d’Anna, a widower, on 2 June 1850.[5]
Francesco marries Lucia di Palermo on 19 January 1851.[6]
